What if fear was personified?
What would your conversation be?
Would you ask why he holds you so dearly?
Are you angry enough to stab fear in the heart, STRONG enough?
Then you can feel the exhilaration of triumph!
Does fear have you so frozen, that you just stare?
How do you reconcile with fear?
Do you allow him to rule your life, do battle and conquer him,
make friends and only let him seep in when your life
is in danger?
Maybe you coddle fear, because in keeping him, he protects you
from the unknown.
Fear is a paradox. Irony.
We need it for fight or flight moments,
keeping us safe.
But it's also our enemy if
we hold it inside of us and let it keep us
from living a full life.
When did THAT kind of fear start for you?
When we allow fear to rule over
some part of our lives,
it seems to only breed things like....
distrust
lethargy
stagnation
tears
anxiety
overwhelm
anger
exhaustion
frustration
hindrance
and feelings of....
suffocation
dread
unease
imprisonment
disappointment.
An ever burning fire in your belly.
What will you do with your fears?
I will not let them win.
I'll use fear as a tool,
a step, and something to learn from. This progression will not be easy.
It may tear me apart.
It may set me free.
I'll leave you with your thoughts.
