Therapy

I expect too much.

I expect to be cherished, supported, loved deeply, and appreciated for the beautiful soul I am.

But, it seems those are the needs that only I can meet for myself. I can no longer expect that a goddess like me can be treated with the respect I need from outside sources. I shouldn’t even ask.

I am on the pedestal that my creator made for me, and I will no longer get down from it to soil my hands on men who don’t feel I deserve it. For men who want to be fixed, or want to be left alone, or men who won’t change.

They are not worth my pain.

I deserve only the best love,

only I can give!

I am now a warrior, full of strength.
